Synopsis:
Megan has to stay with the uptight grandmother she wants nothing to do with. She's determined to get through the visit without any drama, but when she falls into a twisted love triangle with potentially fatal consequences, Megan may be caught up in her family's legacy in more ways than she realizes...

Well... When i read the back cover of this book, i thought it would be interesting, especially the first story. Turns out it wasn't. When i read the first story of the two, i felt like it was dragging on, and had little action. The storyline of it all was pretty good, though. and the idea was great. But Megan's grandmother was meaner than my grandpa, which is kind of not likely, and they didn't describe her enough. I mean, yes, blue eyes don't just come in one shade and high cheekbones are all slightly different. She didn't even say what her hair colour was, or anything about her personality except that she was supersticous and mean.

One thing I liked:
- Matt. That one word desbribes many things ;)
I think he was a good character, but i was surprised when he couldn't read. My first reaction was; 'That grandmother is such a bitch..' but then i giggled a little bit. I couldn't believe she did that thinking it would dim down the relationship between Matt and Megan. Tut tut, Helen.
One thing I didn't like:
- Well, since there is two things, i'm going to fit it into one paragraph :)
First, it bored me a little bit. The action was low, and it skipped onto one bit, but didn't talk about it much. I wanted to hear more about some things, but the story just skipped onto something else. Second, i didn't like the cover. Don't get me wrong, the key was nice looking but the black surrounding it was a bit dull.

Synopsis:

Lauren knows that by returning to the town where her mother drowned seven years ago, she'll be reliving one of her most haunting memories. When she arrives, she is propelled into a series of mysterious events that mimic the days leading up to her mothers death. Maybe her mother's drowning wasn't an accident after all... and maybe Lauren is next.
Hmm... this story was better than the one before, and it had a better storyline. When Lauren returns, and they say something is wrong with Nora, they describe her; but i can't help thinking she's emo :L
I don't know.. i imagine her with aqua hair, and striped tops. Weird, right? But it has an incredible twist! SPOILER: At the end, when Holly admits to Lauren that she killed her mother, it was like 'i thougth so...' but you could never really have evidence. Then the biggest twist of all, when they're all sisters, and Lauren betrayed them all. Her Aunt Jule is her mother, and i was like 'Woah!' O_o.

One thing i liked:
- I absolutely loved everything about this book, well, except a few things. But I loved this second story! It was everything i was hoping from the first. Like, a hot guy (once again!), a villian that's unnoticed, good characters that have their own personalities and a huge twist! i love it when something happens that i don't have to expect. Like in a movie when people are in a competition, you just know that they're going to win. This book ending caught me by surprise, and it was a great ending in fact. It was different, because it didn't exactly end happily, like her sister hating her, and her mum was her aunt. But the ending line was a prefect conclusion for it all.
"Oh, yeah? Are you good at retriveing sticks?"
"I'm good at stealing kisses," Nick said, then proved it. One thing i didn't like-
- One word. Frank. I hated him! Absolute hatred! He was just... an asshole. That was the first impression of him. In the story, he may not be. He may be nice, but when he locked Lauren in the shed, he turned asshole-ish. sorry, Frank. It's over buddy ;) this was the worst thing i didn't like about this book, so take my advice and read this story, it's worth it! (:

Even though i liked the second one, i have to rate the whole book. but the second story definitely gets 4.5/5 stars. :)
But, overall, the book gets 3/5 stars.
